Data Scientist (Remote | Hourly Contract)

Role Overview

Data Scientist

Key Responsibilities

Analyze large and complex datasets to uncover trends, correlations, and actionable insights.
Design, develop, and validate predictive and statistical models.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to build data-driven solutions.
Perform A/B testing and design experiments to evaluate model performance.
Visualize data and communicate findings effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Continuously improve data pipelines, algorithms, and analytical methodologies.

Required Qualifications

Programming:
Proficiency in
Python
(pandas, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, seaborn) or
R
for data analysis and modeling.
Statistical Knowledge:
Strong understanding of probability, hypothesis testing, and regression techniques.
Machine Learning:
Experience developing and evaluating ML models using frameworks such as
scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
.
Data Tools:
Expertise in
SQL
, data wrangling, and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
Analytical Mindset:
Ability to derive insights from complex datasets and communicate results effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a

AI-driven products, finance, or data analytics consulting

Familiarity with
cloud-based data environments
(AWS, GCP, Azure).
