Role & responsibilities We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist with an experience in the analytics space, with expertise in the Indian mutual funds industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong quantitative background and be proficient in Python and SQL. You will be responsible for providing insights and data-driven solutions that support our business objectives in the financial and investment sector. Position - Data Scientist Functional Designation - Will be discussed during the interview Location - One World Centre, Lower Parel, Mumbai Company - Leading AMC 5 days working Responsibilities will include: Analyze large datasets related to mutual funds and other financial products to identify trends and insights. Build models to predict and recommend which products are likely to be next best-product given life stage of a customer. Apply machine learning techniques to enhance our understanding of the mutual fund market and investor behavior. Develop propensity models, attrition models, up/cross sell models to grow AUM. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business, product, and tech, to deliver actionable analytics. Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations that simplify complex data for business stakeholders. Clean, process, and structure data from various sources to ensure data integrity and consistency. Use Python, SQL, and other tools to automate recurring analysis tasks and reporting. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in the mutual funds space, as well as the latest analytics tools and methodologies. A solid understanding of the mutual funds industry in India, including key metrics, regulatory environment, and market dynamics is an added advantage.
