Role Overview: As a Manager in Data Science at our company, you will be responsible for leading and managing data science projects while providing expert guidance in domain and technique perspectives. Your role will involve developing new applications, maintaining existing applications, and leveraging a wide range of machine learning and statistical techniques to design predictive analytics solutions. You will also be responsible for building data science competency within the team, creating frameworks for projects, and conducting trainings on data science within the portfolio. Key Responsibilities: - Develop new applications and maintain existing applications - Provide expert guidance to the team and projects from domain and technique perspectives in data science - Own data science solution design, roadmap, effort estimations, and artifacts such as demos, whitepapers, case studies, and best practices - Build data science competency at the portfolio level through grooming juniors - Create data science frameworks to be leveraged in projects - Conduct trainings on domain and technique perspectives in data science within the portfolio Qualifications Required: - Masters/Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent - Experience of at least 2 full cycle data science projects and 3 years of data science and statistical experience - Knowledge of a wide range of Machine Learning and Statistical techniques - Expertise in Python/ PySpark programming and data science libraries - Experience in using Excel at an advanced level for statistical and exploratory analysis,
