Data QA

As a Data QA professional with 5-8 years of experience, you will be expected to have the following skills and experiences: - Strong SQL skills are required, with the ability to write complex queries for data validation and reconciliation. - You should have an understanding of relational database design, ETL processes, and data modeling concepts. - Experience in testing data products or platforms built on Azure SQL and/or Databricks is preferred. - Familiarity with testing concepts such as QA, UAT, regression, exploratory, and post-production deployment testing is necessary. - Ability to work with datasets of varying complexity, volume, and sensitivity is crucial. - You should have a high attention to detail and the ability to detect inconsistencies or inaccuracies in data. - Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for documenting and explaining findings. Preferred qualifications for the role include: - Prior experience in data platform testing, preferably in financial services or enterprise environments. - Familiarity with Azure Data Factory or other Azure-native data tools. - Knowledge of scripting for automation or test frameworks. - Experience with Agile methodologies and tools.
