About The Role-
We are looking for a Data Integration Engineer who can design, build, and maintain complex data pipelines across a wide range of external systems. Each customer depends on multiple HRMS, CRM, POS, financial, and marketing platforms, and your work will involve integrating diverse data sources to support all of Delightree’s KPIs, reporting needs, and AI driven features. This role requires handling many different products per customer and stitching their data into a unified schema that works consistently across our platform.
Key Responsibilities-
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from customer third party systems (HRMS, CRM, POS, accounting and others).
- Develop transformation logic to map varied customer data into our standardized schema.
- Create and manage connectors using APIs, webhooks, and file based ingestion.
- Handle multi tenant and multi schema variations across different franchise industries.
- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot ingestion issues, and ensure high data quality.
- Work with customer success teams during onboarding to understand each customer’s tools and data formats.
- Collaborate with backend and AI teams to provide clean datasets for analytics and model workflows.
- Document mappings, transformations, and integration processes.
Required Skills-
- Strong Python skills for ETL development.
- Solid SQL knowledge and familiarity with NoSQL (MongoDB preferred).
- Experience integrating third party SaaS tools via REST APIs.
- Good understanding of data modeling and schema mapping.
- Experience working with messy or diverse data sources.
- Familiarity with workflow/orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect, Dagster or cron based pipelines).
Preferred Skills-
- Experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Exposure to POS, financial, HRMS integrations / other B2B platform integrations.
- Startup experience and comfort with fast turnaround cycles.
Soft Skills-
- Strong debugging and problem solving skills.
- Clear communication with both internal and customer facing teams.
- Ownership mindset and ability to work across multiple parallel integrations.
