Data Governance Analyst (Collibra DG and MDM)

Location: Coimbatore (Mandatory)

Overview:

MDM, Reference Data Management (RDM), Data Quality

Key Responsibilities:

• Support and enhance data governance processes with a focus on

  MDM, RDM, and Data Quality

  .
• Manage and maintain the

  data catalogue and business glossary

  , ensuring accurate metadata, definitions, and lineage.
• Monitor data quality across systems, perform root-cause analysis, and support issue management activities.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure consistent application of customer and reference data.
• Enable adoption and effective use of

  Collibra Data Governance

   and other metadata tools.
• Ensure data governance practices support regulatory, audit, and compliance requirements.
• Provide data analysis using SQL, Power BI, and other tools to investigate quality issues and support decision-making.

Essential Skills & Experience:

1. 5 to 12 years

    of experience in

   Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), or Reference Data Management (RDM)

    within a complex business environment.
2. Strong understanding of key data management concepts:
• Master Data
• Reference Data
• Data Quality
• Business Glossary
• Data Lineage
3. Practical experience with

   data quality monitoring

   , profiling, and issue management.
4. Familiarity with

   data catalogues and metadata management platforms

   .
5. Good SQL skills, along with strong

   data analysis

    and

   Power BI

    expertise.
6. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage business and technical stakeholders.
7. Understanding of

   regulatory and audit requirements

    related to financial services or Lloyds data standards.

Desirable Skills:

1. Hands-on experience with MDM technologies such as:
• Profisee
• Informatica MDM
• Reltio
• Microsoft MDS
2. Experience with data catalogue platforms such as:
• Collibra (preferred)
• Alation
• Microsoft Purview
3. Familiarity with

   insurance or financial services data

    (e.g., customer, policy, claims data).
