Data Entry Operator

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Operator to join our team in Vapi, Gujarat. The Data Entry Operator will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing large volumes of information into our database systems. The ideal candidate should possess excellent typing skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Input Data Accurately – Enter data into computer systems or databases from paper documents, forms, or electronic files.
• Verify Information – Check data for errors or inconsistencies and correct them.
• Maintain Records – Organize and update files, spreadsheets, or databases regularly.
• Ensure Data Security – Keep sensitive information confidential and follow data protection guidelines.
• Generate Reports – Prepare reports based on the entered data when required.
• Follow Deadlines – Complete data entry tasks within specified timelines.
• Communicate Issues – Notify supervisors of any discrepancies or problems in data.
• Support Other Teams – Assist other departments with data-related tasks as needed.
• Use Software Efficiently – Operate data entry and management software like Excel, Google Sheets, or company-specific tools.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Data Entry Operator or similar role is preferred.
• Proficient typing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and data entry software.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills to handle high volumes of data efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic understanding of database management and data entry procedures.
