Data Engineer

As a Data Analyst, your role involves designing, developing, and deploying SSAS models in both tabular and multidimensional formats. You are responsible for writing and optimizing MDX/DAX queries to handle complex business logic. Working closely with business analysts and stakeholders, you will translate requirements into robust data models. Additionally, you will design and implement ETL pipelines for data integration and build reporting datasets to support BI teams in creating insightful dashboards, with a preference for Power BI. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deploy SSAS models (both tabular and multidimensional). - Write and optimize MDX/DAX queries for complex business logic. - Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into robust data models. - Design and implement ETL pipelines for data integration. - Build reporting datasets and support BI teams in developing insightful dashboards (Power BI preferred). - Optimize existing cubes and data models for performance and scalability. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance standards. Qualifications Required: - Advanced level proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformations. - Strong understanding of Data Modeling concepts such as Fact/Dimension and Slowly Changing Dimensions. - Experience with ETL tools, with a preference for SSIS. - Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools. - Familiarity with OLAP & OLTP concepts. - Ability to perform Performance Tuning for SSAS/SQL environments.,
