Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on client engagements involving modern data stack implementations, focusing on AWS cloud infrastructure, Snowflake data warehousing, DBT transformations, SQL, Python, Linux, and job scheduling (Control-M). This role offers the opportunity to work with diverse clients across industries while developing expertise in the latest data engineering technologies.

Work Timing:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using

  AWS services

  (S3, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, etc).
• Implement ETL/ELT processes to ingest data from various sources into

  Snowflake data warehouse

• Develop automated data workflows to ensure reliable and timely data delivery
• Write and maintain

  DBT models

  for data transformation and business logic implementation
• Create efficient SQL queries and stored procedures for data processing and analysis
• Design and implement dimensional data models following best practices
• Develop Python scripts for data wrangling, cleaning, and preprocessing
• Create reusable Python modules and libraries for common data engineering tasks
• Optimize Snowflake warehouse performance and cost management
• Linux system and commands knowledge
• Job Scheduling through

  Control M (Optional)

Quick Intake:

Overall 8+ years of experience with 6+ years relevant experience in the below mentioned skills

1. SQL : Advanced : Should be proficient in creating efficient SQL queries and stored procedures for data processing and analysis
2. Data Modelling : Advanced : Should be proficient in designing, implementing and analysing dimensional data models following best practices
3. DBT : Advanced :  Should have expertise in  writing,maintaining and analysing DBT models for data transformation and business logic implementation
4. Snowflake : Advanced : Should have worked with Snowflake and handled ETL/ELT process to load and transform data into Snowflake
5. Gitlab & GitRepo : Should be proficient in code management using Gitlab & GitRepo
