Location : Pune / PCMC (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite) Start Date : Immediate / As per availability Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Data Engineer - Snowflake Specialist. The Data Engineer - Snowflake Specialist We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer with strong experience in Snowflake to join our team on fulltime basis. You will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, optimizing data flow, and enabling scalable data solutions. This role requires a blend of technical skills and a solid understanding of modern data architecture, particularly in cloud-based environments. Key Responsibilities: Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake. Integrate data from multiple sources including structured and semi-structured formats. Optimize Snowflake queries and storage for performance and cost efficiency. Work with stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights. Create and maintain documentation for data architecture, pipelines, and processes. Implement data governance, data quality, and security best practices. Collaborate with data analysts, BI developers, and business stakeholders. Must-Have Qualifications: 3–6 years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake (warehousing, performance tuning, and data modeling). Proficiency in SQL and experience with Python or Scala for data processing. Experience with ETL tools like DBT, Matillion, Informatica, or custom scripts. Familiarity with cloud platforms (preferably AWS or Azure). Knowledge of data security, privacy, and compliance standards Preferred Skills: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git). Exposure to streaming data and real-time processing frameworks. Experience working in Agile environments. Prior experience in BFSI, Retail, or Manufacturing domains is a plus.
