We are seeking a talented Senior Data Engineer/Architects to join our innovative team. This role offers the flexibility of a hybrid working model, combining remote work with in-office twice a week. The ideal candidate will be a skilled data industry professional with hands-on experience in BigQuery and Python, and a passion for solving problems with data. Key Responsibilities: Data Engineering:Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and architectures. Data Analysis:Utilize SQL and BigQuery to analyze large datasets and derive actionable insights. Optimize performance applying cost management techniques. Knowledge on data encryption techniques and key management over cloud Collaboration:Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions. Problem Solving/Competence: Apply data skills to solve complex business problems and improve decision-making processes. Ability to work in fast paced environment and effectively manage priorities. Technology Integration: Implement and manage data solutions using GCP and other relevant technologies. Upscale with latest trends, evolving solution to meet business needs. Must-Have Skills: BigQuery and Python:Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working with these tools. Proven experience in building data platforms on cloud platform, preferably GCP Experience with SQL and Python for data processing Expertise with Big Query, Dataflow, Qlik, and cloud functions Data Engineering Experience:Hands-on experience as a Data Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Data Architect. Experience in implementing security, privacy policies for data governance (GDPR) Understanding of DevOps practices for data platforms Problem-Solving Passion:A strong passion for solving problems using data skills. Preferred Qualifications: Google cloud professional data engineer Experience in ML and integration with GCPs AI platform Familiarity with data lake implementation for structured source data Technology Skills: SQL Python Programming Data Science, Data Structures, Algorithms BigQuery, PostGres Data Visualization Tools:Experience with at least one of the following Tableau, Qlik, Google Charts, Data Studio/Looker GCP (Google Cloud) Benefits: Flexible working hours with a hybrid model (remote and in-office).
