About The Role We are hiring a Data Engineering Lead to design and deliver end-to-end data architectures, pipelines, and cloud solutions for US-based clients. You’ll lead a team of 5–7 engineers, own solution delivery, and act as the bridge between client stakeholders and the technical team. The role demands a hands-on leader who thrives in a consulting environment, driving innovation, performance, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with US-based stakeholders to understand, plan, and deliver scalable data solutions Design and implement data pipelines using tools like Matillion, dbt, and Snowflake Lead technical execution, architecture reviews, and performance optimization of cloud data platforms Mentor and manage a team of engineers; foster a culture of ownership and accountability Conduct code reviews, provide architectural guidance, and ensure project deliverables align with client expectations Optimize ETL/ELT workflows for performance and cost-efficiency Proactively integrate new data tools, frameworks, and DevOps practices (CI/CD, GitHub) Must-Have Qualifications B.E./B.Tech. or M.Tech. in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field 8+ years of data engineering experience including pipeline development and data architecture 2+ years of experience in Matillion and/or dbt-based solutions Strong expertise in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Snowflake) Proven experience in leading technical teams and delivering end-to-end projects Deep knowledge of data warehouse design, NoSQL/relational databases, and data modeling Comfortable working across US and Indian time zones Hands-on with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub integration Preferred Industry Exposure Tech Consulting / IT Services / Data Platform Companies / Analytics-led Startups / Cloud Solution Providers Show more Show less
