Read Job Description Location: Mohali, Punjab Employment Type: Full-time Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines and data infrastructure . The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, optimize MySQL performance , and develop analytics solutions to support data-driven decision-making. This role requires ownership of data processes, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a proactive approach to improving data efficiency and reliability . Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security across reporting and analytics systems. Optimize MySQL queries, indexing, stored procedures, and performance tuning for large datasets. Develop data models, schemas, and warehouse solutions to support analytics. Automate data workflows for real-time and batch data processing efficiency. Work with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, etc.) to develop dashboards and visualizations. Implement and maintain data governance policies and ensure compliance with best practices. Monitor data pipeline health , troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. Collaborate with engineering, analytics, and product teams to understand data needs. Document data architecture, workflows, and processes for internal use. Required Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role. Strong expertise in MySQL (query optimization, indexing, stored procedures, partitioning, etc.). Experience with ETL frameworks and handling structured/unstructured data . Proficiency in SQL and data modeling for analytics and reporting. Experience with Python, SQL, or Shell scripting for data transformation and automation. Knowledge of data pipeline orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Luigi, Prefect, etc.). Familiarity with cloud-based data services (AWS RDS, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, Azure SQL, etc.). Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices. Ability to work with large datasets, optimize queries , and ensure high-performance data processing.
