Job Title: Data Engineer 📍 Location: Hybrid (3 Days in a week WFO) (Pune, Bangalore, Noida, Mumbai, Hyderabad) 🕒 Experience: 6 – 10 Years 📅 Employment Type: Contract (as applicable) 💼 Evaluation Sheet Submission: Mandatory (with one-liner comments) Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines using Python, PySpark, SQL, and Spark SQL. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to support data integration, transformation, and delivery. Optimize data processing workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability. Build reusable components and libraries to streamline data engineering tasks. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure high data quality. Monitor and debug data workflows and resolve issues in a timely manner. Mandatory Skills & Qualifications: 6–10 years of experience as a Data Engineer in large-scale data environments. Strong proficiency in: Python – scripting and automation PySpark – distributed data processing SQL & Spark SQL – advanced queries, performance tuning, data modeling Hands-on experience with big data frameworks and data lake architectures. Solid understanding of ETL/ELT processes, data quality, and data governance principles. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have): Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP Exposure to tools like Airflow, Kafka, or Delta Lake Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data engineering workflows 📄 Note: Candidates must submit an evaluation sheet with one-liner comments for each skill area.
