Role Overview:

Data Engineer

You’ll work with SQL, Python/R, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) to ensure data accuracy, optimize performance, and translate business needs into technical solutions. A strong understanding of data modeling, automation, and coding best practices is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, clean, and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Perform advanced data analysis using statistical methods, data mining techniques, and machine learning algorithms to uncover insights and trends.
• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize complex data and present findings to stakeholders.
• Defining and building data warehouse and reporting solutions
• Preparing high level documentation to be interpreted and understood by technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Economics).
• Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS and/or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, and SQL (On-prem/Cloud).
• Strong MySQL development skills, including debugging and troubleshooting.
• Experience in building Power BI or Tableau dashboards from raw data, including data structure optimization and visualization.
• Solid understanding of relational database design and performance optimization.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Experience working in a continuous integration environment with automated builds, deployment, and testing.
• Knowledge of coding best practices, design patterns, version control, dependency management, optimization, error handling, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
