Job Description

Role Title:

1. Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Data Engineer/Analyst to join our dynamic team. The primary purpose of this role is to design, build, and manage robust data pipelines that transform disparate, raw data into meaningful and reliable datasets. This role is crucial for enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization by ensuring the availability of high-quality, integrated data for analytics and business intelligence.

2. Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

Data Pipeline Development:
Design, develop, and execute efficient and reliable ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to move data between various environments.
Data Wrangling & Integration:
Bring together disparate data sources from across the business to create clean, structured, and meaningful "flat files" and datasets ready for analysis.
Data Integrity & Documentation:
Maintain a high standard of data integrity, applying correct formats and validating data. Proficiently create and maintain analytics-related documentation for processes, data flows, and data definitions.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their data needs, translate complex business problems into data requirements, and communicate technical concepts in a clear, simple manner.
Team Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
Actively collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve common objectives, share knowledge, and provide feedback and mentorship to peers.
