Job Description

We are seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join our Employee Service Centre (ESC team). This role requires attention to detail and ability to follow a designated process in a timely fashion. This position works with the global centralized HR Service Centre team which partners with Payroll and Billing. The position reports to the Director, HR Operations & HRIS. Responsibilities The candidate should possess a sound understanding of Human Resources Processes and Policies. Must have strong commitment and vigilance to data security and is expected to always maintain confidentiality. Essential duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Timely and accurate processing of payroll, timesheet and billing corrections in Vision, ServiceNow and ADP and other utilized software. Ensure payroll information is managed and maintained with strict security safeguards and confidentiality. Communicating changes or concerns as appropriate. Answer questions regarding timesheets and payroll corrections. Trouble-shoot and resolve problems as necessary. Provide outstanding, friendly, and timely customer service to any partners, employees, or co-workers who have questions or issues to be resolved. Other miscellaneous duties as assigned including being cross trained to cover for other members of the department during absences. Qualifications masters degree in finance or human resources preferred Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll/accounting experience, preferably in HR Strong commitment to data security and confidentiality Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) Prior experience managing processes, analysing information, and problem solving Excellent time management and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple competing priorities Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment Self-starter who is comfortable working autonomously Preferred Skills/Requirements: Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to meeting deadlines Fluent speaking, reading and writing in English required Ability to identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and efficiencies Other: Willingness to work 100% from office and flexibility to adapt to shifting schedules as per business needs
