Data Collection Manager, Sensor & Data - Computer Vision, ML

Role Overview: As a Data Collection Manager at HARMAN Automotive's Automotive AI Lab in Bangalore, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that development and validation teams have access to the necessary datasets. Your responsibilities will include leading data collection activities, coordinating vehicle/lab hardware/software setup, defining working packages for internal resources and external vendors, supervising data collection activities, overseeing the labeling team, analyzing data collection requirements, and ensuring compliance with data privacy laws. Key Responsibilities: - Lead data collection activities in Bangalore and other locations in India - Coordinate vehicle/lab hardware/software setup - Define working packages for internal resources and external vendors - Supervise and report data collection activities - Lead the labeling team and optimize the labeling process - Analyze and document data collection requirements - Perform QA and provide feedback on data quality - Work with legal and compliance team to ensure data privacy compliance Qualifications Required: - Masters Degree or higher in computer science, electrical engineering or similar qualification - 8+ years experience managing teams of engineering technicians - Extended understanding of sensor and data management hardware - Understanding of computer vision and machine learning - Experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence - Knowledge of CI/CD concepts and experience with tools like Jenkins - Strong organizational and management skills - Ability to work with incomplete technical information - Strong attention to detail and quality Additional Details: HARMAN offers a flexible work environment with full-time remote work options globally for eligible positions.
