Walkin Interview for Data Center Engineer in MumbaiWalkin Interview Date: 17th May 2025 Job Title: Data Center EngineerExperience Required: 4 to 10 YearsLocation: MumbaiRequired Technical Skillset: Hardware, Datacenter, Physical Servers, Network Switches /Routers/Firewalls, StorageResponsibilities:Monitor, install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, and networking hardware.Perform routine system and network health checks to ensure high availability.Rack, stack, and cable servers and other data center equipment.Troubleshoot hardware failures and replace faulty components.Assist in configuring and managing LAN/WAN connections, routers, switches, and firewalls.Coordinate with network teams to maintain optimal data flow.Use data center management tools to monitor performance and uptime.Generate reports on system utilization, incidents, and maintenance activities.Enforce physical and logical security protocols.Ensure compliance with data center regulations and internal policies.Support backup procedures and disaster recovery plans.Test and validate restore procedures periodically.Work closely with IT support, system administrators, and vendors.Provide technical assistance during outages, upgrades, and migrations.Maintain accurate records of configurations, procedures, and inventory.Update data center diagrams and SOPs as changes occur.
