Data Annotation Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a talented Data Annotator to join our team for a 6-month contract position. In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing technical documents, translating them into visual formats like graphs and flowcharts, and ensuring accurate annotation of technical specifications. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of technical documentation, and hands-on experience with data visualization. What You ll Do: Document Review & Annotation : Thoroughly analyze technical documents, and accurately annotate key information and data points. Graph & Flowchart Creation : Translate complex technical specifications into clear and concise graphs and flowcharts, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Data Visualization : Develop graphs, charts, and other visual data representations to support documentation and aid in understanding. Collaboration : Work closely with technical teams to ensure correct representation of data and processes. Quality Control : Ensure all annotations and visual elements meet accuracy standards and align with the original documentation. Clear Communication : Communicate technical details clearly and effectively, both in written form and verbal communication with internal teams. Time Management : Manage multiple tasks with an emphasis on meeting deadlines while maintaining flexibility in working hours, primarily within the PST time zone . What You ll Need: A Bachelor s degree (or higher) Strong curiosity about how people think, express themselves, and how to distill, clarify, and label that information for AI and machine learning applications . Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey ideas and instructions effectively. Excellent Communication Skills : Strong ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely, both written and verbal. Technical Document Comprehension : Ability to read and understand technical documents, and annotate them with precision. Graph & Flowchart Creation : Hands-on experience in creating graphs, charts, and flowcharts to visualize technical data. Attention to Detail : A keen eye for ensuring accuracy in data annotation and visualization. Technical Aptitude : Comfortable working with technical information and turning it into easily understandable visuals. Flexible Working Hours : Availability to work flexible hours, primarily in the PST time zone . Immediate Availability : Must be able to start immediately and commit to the full 6-month contract. What We d Like to See: Familiarity with Diagramming and business process tools such as Microsoft Visio Previous experience with data annotation is a plus Fluency in an international language other than English is a plus.
