To learn more, visit: www.switchon.org.in Description The Data Analyst will play a critical role in transforming field and program data into actionable insights. This includes cleaning and analyzing large datasets, developing dashboards, and supporting program and MEL teams to make data-informed decisions. The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical proficiency, problem-solving, and an eye for detail to enhance evidence-based program outcomes. Roles & Responsibilities Data Management & Analysis Collect, clean, and structure data from field teams, surveys, and MIS tools Analyze datasets to track KPIs and program outcomes Support the MEL and program teams with timely insights and evidence Dashboard & Visualization Design and maintain project-level and organization-level dashboards (Power BI, Google Data Studio, etc.) Automate reporting for weekly, monthly, and quarterly program needs Build intuitive visuals to present complex information in simple formats Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL) Collaborate with MEL team to define lead and lag indicators Ensure data integrity, audit trails, and adherence to MEL protocol . Conduct periodic data quality checks and validations Reporting & Capacity Support Generate reports and infographics for funders, partners, and leadership Train project staff in data entry, analysis, and dashboard use Document SOPs and standard practices for data processes Qualifications & Skills Graduate/Postgraduate in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields 25 years of relevant experience in data analysis, preferably in the social sector Proficient in Power BI, Excel, Google Sheets; knowledge of SQL, Python/R is a plus Experience with data collection tools like KoboToolbox, Zoho, ODK Strong visualization, analytical, and problem-solving skills High attention to detail, good communication, and ability to work cross-functionally Interest in climate, livelihoods, and sustainability is desirable Reporting Structure Reports To: MEL & Strategy Lead Team Size: Individual contributor with cross-functional coordination Travel Requirements Periodic travel to project sites (within and outside West Bengal) Compensation Monthly Salary: 40,000–65,000 Additional Benefits: Professional development + Health Insurance + Travel Reimbursement (as per policy) Application Process Interested candidates are requested to send their CV and Cover Letter to: apply@switchon.org.in Subject Line: Application – Data Analyst
