Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities: Lead and facilitate requirement discussions for the Enterprise Data Warehouse, aligning with NBFC-specific data needs. Understand data flows from FinnOne or similar LMS, and other internal systems to identify integration and modeling requirements. Collaborate with business units (credit, collections, risk, ops) to translate needs into structured data use cases and reporting frameworks. Develop prototypes and POCs to showcase how data can be analysed and visualized using tools like Alteryx, Power BI, etc. Support the evaluation of cloud platforms (Azure vs AWS) in the context of EDW architecture and business objectives. Work with data engineering and IT teams to ensure seamless data ingestion, transformation, and visualization pipelines. Promote data quality, consistency, and governance best practices. Prepare data dictionaries, lineage documentation, and analytical reports that support decision-making. Desired Profile: Strong understanding of Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) concepts and architectures. Domain knowledge in lending, NBFCs, and financial services with a solid grasp of loan lifecycle data. Familiarity with FinnOne or similar LMS systems, and how lending data is structured and consumed. Hands-on experience with Alteryx for data transformation and automation. Proficient in SQL and experience working with BI/reporting tools like Power BI or Tableau. Exposure to cloud data platforms—preferably Azure and/or AWS (knowledge of key services like Redshift, Synapse, S3, ADLS, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with regulatory reporting and data compliance in the BFSI space. Exposure to data governance frameworks and master data management (MDM). Working knowledge of Agile delivery methods.
