Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities of a Data Analyst (SQL, Python) Data Extraction & Collection Retrieve data from databases using SQL and extract from APIs, Excel, or CSV files. Data Cleaning & Preprocessing Handle missing values, duplicates, and inconsistencies using Python (Pandas, NumPy). Data Analysis & Interpretation – Identify trends, patterns, and correlations using SQL queries and Python libraries. SQL Query Optimization – Write and optimize complex SQL queries for faster data retrieval and processing. Data Visualization – Create dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Python (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly). Statistical Analysis – Apply regression, hypothesis testing, and other statistical techniques using SciPy, StatsModels. Automation & Scripting – Automate repetitive data processing tasks with Python scripts and SQL jobs. Business Insights & Reporting – Generate actionable insights and present findings to stakeholders. Data Governance & Security – Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with industry regulations. Collaboration with Teams – Work closely with data engineers, scientists, and business analysts for data-driven decision-making.
