Dance Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging dance lessons to students in accordance with curriculum or studio guidelines.
• Teach proper dance techniques, posture, rhythm, and movement coordination.
• Develop choreography for performances, competitions, and recitals.
• Evaluate and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and encouragement.
• Maintain a safe and positive learning environment in the classroom or studio.
• Organize and participate in rehearsals, shows, and special events.
• Stay updated on current dance trends, techniques, and teaching methodologies.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning atmosphere.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Proven experience as a Dance Teacher, Instructor, or Choreographer.
• Degree or certification in Dance, Performing Arts, or related field (preferred but not always required).
• Proficiency in [specific dance styles].
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
• Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring students.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, for classes and performances.

Physical Requirements:
