The Expeditors Cybersecurity Team provides industry-leading services to our customers by protecting the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and our customers electronic data. We mitigate corporate risk through analysis of threat, potential threat actors and actions and a risk-based methodology based on deep understanding of our own infrastructure and potential impacts from cyber events. Strategically, cybersecurity activities both improve our security posture and reduce long-term resource requirements. The Cybersecurity team is highly collaborative and communicative within our team, within the IS department, and within the company as a whole. Excellent customer service is always top priority. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Design, Install and Support Network Security devices Perform resolutions to security related Change Requests and Incidents Quickly respond, troubleshoot, and implement resolutions for Network Security issues Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity through firewall log analysis and network traces Fine-tune policies and administration strategy in areas of networking and security need Partner with GEO teams to implement secure solutions Collaborate and communicate effectively with GEO teams Identify opportunities for improvement Discipline cultural role model ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE 5+ Years experience in Incident response (SIEM). Work experience in Palo Alto & Checkpoint Firewall, Web Proxy, Routing, and Switching technologies Experience in Design, Installs, and Maintains (Palo Alto & Checkpoint Firewall, Web Proxy, and Remote Access environments) Firewall Add/Modify/Remove firewall Rules, Groups, and Global policies in Checkpoint Experience in setting up Site-2-Site VPN connections between enterprises. Understanding of On-premises to cloud network security architecture. Strong knowledge in implementation of ACLs. Handle Service Requests and Incident tickets related to Firewall and Web proxy Fluently translate complex technical information to/from non-technical audiences Witting technical documents for the supporting technologies A constructive approach to problem-solving and risk mitigation PREFERRED EXPERIENCE Has strong knowledge in Network Security Technologies and/or Cybersecurity foundations Has strong knowledge in advanced unified threat management platforms, which may include working with intrusion detection and/or firewall systems is essential. Standard protocols such as DNS, SFTP, SSH, TCP/IP and SMTP Experience supporting and deploying Cisco Proxy WSA devices Configure and maintain Web filtering policies Good experience on Cisco WSA device. Web Proxy Add/Modify/Remove global web policies in Cisco WSA Industry Security Certifications: CCNA Security, CISSP or equivalent strongly preferred. REPORTING STRUCTURE Team Manager, CSRM Portfolio
