Role Overview

As a Cyber Security Intern, you will work on identifying vulnerabilities, analyzing security incidents, and implementing basic defensive strategies. You will gain exposure to essential cybersecurity tools and techniques while contributing to security-focused tasks within the organization.

Responsibilities

✅ Conduct vulnerability assessments and basic penetration testing tasks.

✅ Analyze security logs and assist in monitoring potential threats.

✅ Research common cyber threats, exploits, and attack vectors.

✅ Assist in creating documentation for security policies and best practices.

✅ Work with tools like Nmap, Burp Suite, Wireshark, Metasploit, and SIEM dashboards.

✅ Support the team in maintaining secure systems and improving security posture.

Requirements

🎓 Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, Ethical Hacking, or related fields.

💻 Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Firewalls).

🛡 Familiarity with Linux commands and security tools.

🔍 Knowledge of vulnerabilities like SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.

🧠 Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.

✨ Curiosity to learn modern cyber attack techniques and defense strategies.
