The successful candidate will be responsible for operating laser projection systems to assist in part layout, assembly guidance, and ensuring quality using the LaserQC inspection system. This role is vital in maintaining product accuracy and reducing rework through precise, non-contact measurement and projection. Key Responsibilities: Operate laser projection systems to assist with part positioning, layout, and assembly alignment on production tables or workstations. Program and run LaserQC machines for 2D inspection of sheet metal or fabricated parts. Compare scanned parts to CAD models to verify dimensional accuracy and highlight deviations. Identify and communicate defects or non-conforming parts to appropriate team members. Generate inspection reports and maintain accurate records of measurements and findings. Assist in calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laser equipment. Work closely with design, engineering, and production teams to ensure proper part setup and inspection.
