Customer Silicon Back-end lead

Role Overview: As the ASIC Back-End Head at Wipro Limited, you will be responsible for leading the physical design and implementation of Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) to ensure optimal performance, power efficiency, and manufacturability. Your strategic leadership will define and execute the ASIC back-end design roadmap, overseeing synthesis, floorplanning, placement, routing, timing closure, and sign-off. You will work on physical design optimization to meet Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) targets, leveraging EDA tools such as Synopsys, Cadence, and Mentor Graphics for ASIC implementation. Collaboration with design, verification, DFT, and packaging teams will be essential, along with ensuring a smooth transition from design to fabrication. Key Responsibilities: - Define and execute the ASIC back-end design roadmap. - Oversee synthesis, floorplanning, placement, routing, timing closure, and sign-off. - Ensure Power, Performance, and Area (PPA) targets are met. - Work with Synopsys, Cadence, Mentor Graphics tools for ASIC implementation. - Coordinate with design, verification, DFT, and packaging teams. - Ensure smooth transition from design to fabrication. Qualifications Required: - Extensive experience (15yrs+) in ASIC physical design and implementation. - Expertise in timing analysis, power optimization, and physical verification. - Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
