Sales Associate (Sales Ex) Job Profile Key Responsibilities: Customer Assistance: Greet customers warmly and offer assistance in finding products. Provide information on promotions, new arrivals, and product features. Help customers make decisions on purchases based on their needs. Sales and Upselling: Actively engage with customers to meet sales targets. Recommend additional products (upselling) or complementary items. Stay informed about the latest products and store promotions. Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the store s products and services. Provide expert advice on product selection and usage. Stay updated on inventory, pricing, and any changes in stock. Merchandising and Store Maintenance: Ensure store shelves and displays are stocked, organized, and visually appealing. Assist in setting up promotions, signage, and seasonal displays. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the store. Customer Service: Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a professional manner. Ensure customer satisfaction and follow up on issues if necessary. Resolve customer conflicts or escalate to a manager when needed. Teamwork: Collaborate with other sales associates and store managers to meet store goals. Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and store events. Skills Required: Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and team members. Sales Skills: Persuasive skills to close sales and upsell products. Customer Focused: A strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Time Management: Ability to handle multiple tasks at once while providing great customer service. Cashier Job Profile Key Responsibilities: Processing Transactions: Handle customer payments through cash, credit/debit cards, or mobile payment systems. Scan items and ensure correct pricing, applying discounts, coupons, and promotions. Issue receipts, change, and refunds where necessary. Customer Interaction: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Answer customer questions related to prices, store policies, or available products. Ensure smooth and efficient checkout experience. Cash Handling and Accuracy: Ensure accurate cash handling, balancing the register at the beginning and end of shifts. Report any discrepancies in cash flow or register errors to the supervisor. Ensure that all transactions are processed accurately. Inventory Management: Assist with stock replenishment when needed. Inform sales associates or managers if stock is running low. Customer Service: Handle customer complaints or issues during the checkout process, providing satisfactory resolutions. Promote loyalty programs or store credit cards to customers at the checkout. Maintain Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the checkout area neat and organized. Ensure that bags, receipts, and other checkout supplies are replenished.
