Summary:SWE.5/SWE.6/MAN.5 (Risk Management) + Requirements EngineeringThe Risk Manager ensures systematic identification, assessment, and mitigation of risks across the software development lifecycle in compliance with Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) and organizational quality standards. This role drives process conformance for SWE.5 (Software Integration and Integration Testing) and SWE.6 (Software Qualification Testing), manages MAN.5 (Risk Management) activities, and supports Requirements Engineering alignment with ASPICE processes and OEM expectations. Roles and Responsibilities:
Identify, assess, and document project and product-level risks in accordance with MAN.5 process guidelines.Establish and maintain Risk Records and Risk Reports, ensuring mitigation plans are created, tracked, and implemented.Collaborate with project teams, architects, and test leads to analyze risk impact across SWE.5 and SWE.6 activities.Facilitate risk reviews, escalate high-severity risks, and ensure timely resolution or mitigation.Monitor progress of risk treatment activities and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions.Support ASPICE compliance by maintaining risk traceability and alignment with Requirements Engineering artifacts.Ensure risk-based prioritization in test strategy, test case design, and qualification testing (SWE.6).Contribute to process tailoring and continuous improvement for ASPICE MAN.5, SWE.5, and SWE.6.Ensure bidirectional traceability between requirements, risks, and test results.Provide inputs to Quality Assurance teams for ASPICE assessments and internal process audits.Professional and Technical
Skills:- Strong understanding of Automotive SPICE (SWE.5, SWE.6, MAN.5) process areas.Hands-on experience in Requirements Engineering and traceability management using tools such as IBM DOORS, Polarion, or Codebeamer.Proficiency in Risk Management frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Risk Register, FMEA, DFMEA).Working knowledge of software testing processes, integration, and qualification activities.Ability to interpret OEM risk management requirements (VW, Stellantis, Renault-Nissan, BMW, etc.).Strong analytical, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.Must Have skillsRequirement analysisGood to Have :Aspice.
Additional Information:Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline.6+ years of experience in automotive embedded software development, testing, or quality domains.Prior experience with ASPICE assessments, QMS implementation, or Risk-based testing.Certifications such as ASPICE Provisional Assessor, ISO 31000 Risk Management, or ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager are a plus.
