CTO - Quantum Engineering - Architect

As a CTO - Quantum Engineering - Architect at Wipro Limited, you will play a crucial role in leading the architecture of quantum solutions. Your responsibilities will include: - Lead the architecture of quantum solutions, including system design, hardware/software stack selection, scaling, and performance considerations. - Define reference architectures, patterns, and best practices for quantum engineering. - Oversee the end-to-end design of quantum/hybrid quantum-classical solutions, ensuring maintainability, reliability, performance, and error handling. - Collaborate with research teams to introduce new algorithmic methods and work with consulting teams to meet domain constraints. - Interface with hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, Google) and platform providers, understand hardware and cloud quantum resource constraints, and manage integration. - Mentor developers, set coding standards, and drive the technical roadmap. To qualify for this role, you should have: - 10-15 years of experience in software/systems engineering with significant exposure to quantum computing or related fields. - Strong background in systems/architecture with familiarity in distributed systems and performance optimization. - Proficiency in programming quantum circuits and a strong grasp of the classical and quantum stack. - Good leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and review the work of multiple developers.
