As a Crop Lead, you will play a crucial role in managing P&L, planning for short and long-term goals, and devising effective strategies for the existing crop portfolio to drive market share growth. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the profitability of the crops by working closely with sales and seeds production teams on pricing and costs. You will lead the development and implementation of crop strategies to maximize profitability and sustainable market share growth. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to align business units and support functions with the overall crop strategy for optimal execution and enhanced performance. In this role, you will design and execute comprehensive crop packages and promotional plans, working in tandem with the Field Marketing team to ensure successful market penetration. Conducting seasonal crop audits and market research will also be part of your responsibilities to gather insights and integrate learnings into the strategy for continuous improvement and better results in the following year. To excel in this position, you should have at least 15 years of experience in relevant fields and hold a qualification of MSc/MBA/BSc.
