Credit Manager - Unsecured Business Loan

As a Credit Manager/Head in the NBFC (Unsecured Business Loan) division, your role involves assessing the creditworthiness of potential borrowers and making informed lending decisions. You will be responsible for underwriting loans, developing credit policies, mitigating risks, managing the loan portfolio, ensuring compliance, and generating credit-related reports. Key Responsibilities: - Evaluate the creditworthiness of potential borrowers using financial statements, credit reports, and industry trends. - Utilize credit scoring models and risk assessment tools for making lending decisions. - Determine appropriate loan structures and collaborate with the underwriting team for timely processing. - Contribute to developing and refining the company's credit policies and guidelines. - Implement risk mitigation strategies like collateral requirements, guarantees, and covenants. - Monitor loan performance, review client financials periodically, and take necessary actions for risk mitigation. - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and generate credit-related reports for decision-making. Qualifications: - 8-20 years of experience in credit analysis and risk management. - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications are advantageous. - Proven experience in NBFC or financial institution focusing on working capital lending. - Strong understanding of financial statements, credit risk assessment techniques, and industry-specific risk factors. - Knowledge of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements. - Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, analytical mindset, and proficiency in financial modelling tools.
