Credit Manager- SCF - Digital - Mumbai - Goregaon

Role Overview: As a Credit Manager in the digital department, your main objective is to ensure thorough credit underwriting, monitor delinquencies, and enhance market intelligence. You will be responsible for preparing credit notes, conducting client visits, and analyzing transaction risks. Additionally, you will identify automation opportunities, minimize audit queries, and stay updated on market practices to support informed decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Amendment of credit notes and financial models - Preparation of detailed credit notes - Interaction with product and sales teams for structuring and portfolio management - Conducting customer meetings for industry and market understanding - Preparing/amending notes/financial models with correct information - Pre-approval and rating of all unrated corporates - Controlling and monitoring post-disbursement documents such as MOU, FLDG Agreements, term sheets, etc. - Managing portfolio quality documentation, post-disbursal documents, and delinquency levels - Working on projects/process improvements - Critically evaluating transaction, business & financial risk, and industry risk - Identifying relevant risks and submitting appropriate mitigations - Performing detailed financial analysis covering business model, working capital cycle, profitability, etc. - Developing market intelligence through engagements with other banks and FIs - Identifying automation opportunities in processes and new product development - Raising early warning signals for stress accounts and timely exits - Ensuring minimal audit queries and resolving them within prescribed timelines - Actively participating in customer visits - Providing regular MIS on market intelligence Qualifications Required: - Minimum Degree: MBA/PGDBA/PGPM/CA or Equivalent - Minimum Years/type of experience: 2-3 years in Banks/FIs Additional Details: The company emphasizes competencies such as speed, meritocracy, customer focus, tech quotient, sustainability, adaptability, influence, collaboration, integrity, resilience, agility, decisiveness, risk management, and financial acumen.,
