Credit Controller Executive

As a Credit Control & Accounts Receivable Manager at our company, your role will involve proactively managing a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure timely collection of outstanding debts. This includes preparing and issuing statements of accounts and dunning letters, as well as maintaining accurate customer records in the accounting system. Additionally, you will assist with processing vendor invoices accurately and reconciling vendor statements. Key Responsibilities: - Proactively manage a portfolio of customer accounts for timely debt collection - Prepare and issue statements of accounts and dunning letters - Maintain accurate customer records - Assist with processing vendor invoices and reconciling vendor statements Reporting & Analysis: - Generate regular reports on accounts receivable aging, collection forecasts, and credit control performance - Provide insights on overdue accounts and potential bad debts Compliance & Process Improvement: - Ensure compliance with company credit terms and procedures - Identify areas for process improvement in credit control and accounts receivable management Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field - Relevant certification in Credit Management or Accounts is a plus Experience: - 2-4 years of progressive experience in credit control or accounts receivable - Strong understanding of collection processes - Experience with UK-based companies and accounting practices is desirable - Familiarity with accounting software systems (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics) Skills & Competencies: - Technical Proficiency in UK accounting practices and relevant software - Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and strong organizational skills - Customer service orientation and high level of integrity In addition to the role responsibilities, we offer a competitive salary package, professional growth opportunities, and a dynamic work environment with exposure to global markets and supply chain challenges.,
