Job Title: Credit Control Grade: Assistant Manager/ Manager Location: Kolkata and Mumbai Experience: 7+ Education: Bachelors degree in Finance or a related field (MBA preferred) Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Control Executive to oversee credit management and ensure timely collections in the logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in credit control, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of financial processes. This role involves assessing credit risk, managing outstanding receivables, and maintaining strong relationships with clients to ensure smooth financial transactions. Key Responsibilities: Assess and evaluate the creditworthiness of clients and set appropriate credit limits. Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with clients to ensure timely collections. Maintain accurate records of all credit transactions and collection efforts. Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to mitigate credit risks. Resolve billing disputes and negotiate payment terms when necessary. Prepare and analyze aging reports, highlighting potential risks to management. Ensure compliance with company credit policies and industry regulations. Develop strategies to improve cash flow and minimize bad debt exposure. Maintain strong relationships with key customers to facilitate smooth payment processes. Assist in the preparation of financial reports and forecasts related to credit control. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong understanding of credit risk assessment and financial management. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
