Job Title:** Credit Application Specialist **Department:** AR/Credit **Reports To:** Credit Manager **Job Summary:** The Credit Application Specialist is responsible for managing the end-to-end credit application process using the Nuvo platform. This role involves processing customer credit applications, evaluating creditworthiness, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with company credit policies. The specialist will leverage Nuvos tools to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and provide exceptional support to customers and internal teams. **Key Responsibilities:** - Process and review customer credit applications submitted through the Nuvo platform, ensuring all required documentation is complete. - Utilize Nuvo’s features to verify applicant information, pull credit reports, and assess credit risk based on company guidelines. - Communicate with customers to request additional information or clarify application details as needed. - Collaborate with the sales team to facilitate smooth onboarding of new customers while balancing risk management. - Maintain and update customer credit profiles and records within Nuvo, ensuring data accuracy and security. - Monitor application statuses, follow up on pending approvals, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. - Generate reports and insights using Nuvo’s analytics tools to support credit decision-making and process improvements. - Ensure compliance with company credit policies, industry regulations, and data privacy standards. - Provide training or guidance to team members on using Nuvo for credit-related tasks, if applicable. - Stay updated on Nuvo platform enhancements and recommend best practices for its use. **Qualifications:** - High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred. - 1-2 years of experience in credit processing, customer onboarding, or financial administration (preferred). - Familiarity with credit evaluation processes and basic financial principles. - Experience with Nuvo or similar credit management software is a plus; willingness to learn Nuvo is required. - Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for assessing credit applications and managing data. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and ability to adapt to cloud-based platforms. - Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal stakeholders. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. **Work Environment:** - Hybrid - Regular use of Nuvo platform and interaction with customers via email, phone, or virtual tools.
