Credit Analyst

The requirement is for a reputed wealth management company. Position will be based at Kalina in Mumbai, preferred local candidates.

CTC: Up to 18 LPA

Position details

We are looking for an analyst with 5+ years of experience with sell side or a buy side firm. The analyst

will be required to maintain active coverage of the investee companies and the respective industry in which the

investee company operates in addition to coverage of REITs and INVITs. The analyst will also be required to

work on detailed Investment Committee Credit memos for proposing fresh investments.

The ideal candidate will combine a strong quantitative skill set with a range of qualitative skills to

effectively communicate their research in writing and verbally to fund management team and to clients. In addition, we seek someone with the highest level of ethical integrity.

Preference will be given to experienced candidate in small and mid-cap research.

Responsibilities

• Work on all/ any aspect of research: research planning, primary research, secondary research,

quality checking industries Interpreting all the content, statistics and presenting it in a research

report.

• As a part of due-diligence, the candidate will be required to do Industry Analysis, Investee

company’s holding structure diligence, Share holding pattern,Debt maturity profile and Financial

analysis

• Generate new investment ideas as a supplement to central research coverage.

• Adapt with the industry structure and change the approach for the research depending upon the

sector and the geography.

Preferred Person Specifications:

• 5+ years of research analyst experience. Should have experience as a bottom-up analyst for at

least 3-4 years in small and mid-cap segment

Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with hands on experience in rigorous financial

markets analysis

• Ability to apply thoughts and timely realization of investment opportunities with solid decisioning

abilities.

• Good collaboration and individual contribution skills

• Excellent communication with articulation to wider audiences.

• Education qualifications preferred MBA and/or CFA, not compulsory

• Should be good with Ms Word, Ms Excel
