About the Role

We are looking for a Creative Video Editor who lives and breathes the Entertainment and TV industry. You aren't just an editor; you are a storyteller who understands the pulse of pop culture. In this role, you will bridge the gap between long-form content and viral short-form hits. You will be responsible for editing high-quality video podcasts and interviews, while also repurposing that footage into engaging, fast-paced Reels/Shorts that hook audiences instantly. If you know your way around Adobe Premiere Pro blindfolded and know exactly what makes a clip go viral, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

1. Long-Form Editing (Podcasts & Interviews): Handle end-to-end post-production for video podcasts and celebrity interviews. Perform multi-camera editing, audio syncing, and color correction. Clean up audio (noise reduction, leveling) to ensure broadcast-quality sound.

2. Short-Form Storytelling (Reels/TikTok/Shorts): The "Hook" Specialist: Identify the most entertaining, controversial, or funny moments from long interviews and turn them into <60-second viral clips. Edit vertical video (9:16) with dynamic subtitles, trending audio, and engaging motion graphics. Use pacing and comedic timing to maximize audience retention.

3. Content Strategy & TV Knowledge: Apply your knowledge of the TV and Entertainment industry to select relevant topics and trending angles for edits. Stay updated on current editing trends, meme culture, and social media formats.

What We Are Looking For

-Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is a must. (Basic knowledge of After Effects and Photoshop is a massive plus). Industry Knowledge: You follow TV shows, reality TV, and celebrity news. You understand the context of the content you are editing.

-Storytelling Ability: You understand narrative structure. You can take 60 minutes of raw footage and craft a compelling 30-second story.

-Audio Skills: Experience editing dialogue and mixing audio for podcasts. Visual Flair: A strong eye for composition, typography, and color grading.
