About the Role India Designer Show is seeking an exceptionally discerning and creatively driven Lead Content Strategist - Video & Graphic to be the visionary behind the India Designer Show's visual and auditory brand narrative. This is a critical role for an individual with an impeccable eye for design, a profound understanding of typography, and a nuanced appreciation for how music elevates visual storytelling. You will be responsible for defining, developing, and overseeing the creation of all video and graphic content, ensuring every piece not only engages our audience but also embodies the sophisticated and artistic essence of the India Designer Show, driving brand appeal and supporting our commercial objectives. Key Responsibilities: Elevated Visual & Auditory Strategy :Develop and champion a sophisticated video and graphic content strategy that captures the aspirational and artistic spirit of the India Designer Show. Define the visual guidelines, including colour palettes, imagery style, typography (font selection and usage), and overall aesthetic direction for all content. Curate and integrate a ppropriate music and sound design that complements the visual narrative, enhances emotional resonance, and aligns with the show's premium brand. Creative Direction & Oversight :Lead the ideation and conceptualization of all video and graphic content, from high-impact promotional films to intricate social media visuals and captivating event recaps. Provide expert creative direction to internal and external teams (videographers, graphic designers, animators, sound engineers), ensuring the highest standards of quality, artistic integrity, and brand consistency are maintained. Oversee the entire production lifecycle, from storyboarding and scripting to editing, motion graphics, color grading, and final output. Brand Storytelling & Impact :Translate complex design concepts, designer inspirations, and the immersive event experience into compelling and visually stunning narratives that resonate with discerning audiences. Ensure all visual and auditory content reinforces the luxury positioning and unique value proposition of the India Designer Show for exhibitors, sponsors, and attendees. Platform-Specific Optimization :Strategize content distribution across all relevant digital channels (website, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, advertising platforms), optimizing visual and auditory elements for maximum impact and engagement on each platform. Collaboration & Integration :Work seamlessly with the Marketing, PR, Sales, and Sponsorship teams to create integrated campaigns and ensure all content aligns with business objectives and key messaging. Partner with designers and event stakeholders to capture unique stories and perspectives. Performance & Aesthetic Analysis :Monitor engagement and performance metrics of visual content, providing insights to continuously refine strategies. Conduct regular aesthetic reviews to ensure content consistently meets and exceeds the show's high visual and artistic standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Film Production, Visual Communication, or a related field. Minimum of 8-12 years of progressive experience in video and graphic content strategy, creative direction, and production management, with a robust portfolio demonstrating exceptional aesthetic sensibility. A deep and demonstrable understanding of design principles, typography, visual hierarchy, and color theory is paramount. Proven expertise in selecting and integrating music and sound design to enhance visual content and reinforce brand emotion. Extensive experience creating premium visual content for luxury brands, high-end fashion, art, design, or large-scale cultural/event productions in India. Expert proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects); knowledge of 3D rendering or advanced animation tools is a plus. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, capable of translating creative vision into tangible business outcomes (e.g., enhanced brand perception, increased engagement leading to conversions) Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills, capable of articulating and defending creative concepts to senior stakeholders. Highly organized with excellent project management skills, able to juggle multiple complex visual projects in a fast-paced, demanding environment. A passionate eye for detail and an unwavering commitment to creative excellence. Willingness to work flexible hours, including during event periods, to capture and deliver timely content.
