Crane Operation : Safely operate cranes to lift and move materials according to job specifications, ensuring accuracy and adherence to safety protocols. Load Management : Determine load weights and balance to prevent overloading and maintain stability during lifting and moving operations. Equipment Inspection : Perform pre-operational inspections of the crane, checking for proper functioning of controls, safety devices, and mechanical components. Communication : Maintain clear communication with ground personnel or signalers using hand signals, radio, or other communication devices during lifting operations. Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety regulations, procedures, and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Qualifications and Skills : High school diploma or equivalent. Crane Operator certification or license issued by relevant authorities. Training and experience in operating various types of cranes (e. g. , mobile cranes, tower cranes, overhead cranes). Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols related to crane operations. Key Attributes : Technical Expertise : Proficiency in operating and maneuvering different types of cranes.
