Role Purpose The Country Talent & Excitement Lead will be responsible for building effective relationships within the organization to enable the smooth operation of people practices. The incumbent will provide the full spectrum of talent solutions and services to support the country's goals and objectives through the development, implementation, and management of Human Resources processes and programs. He/She will also provide leadership, direction and expertise for the full scope of the Human Resources function; which includes employee engagement, employee relations, reward and recognition, talent acquisition, talent development and planning as well as organizational change management. Principal Accountabilities Partner the Country Manager and local leadership stakeholders in delivering T&E processes to support the business Assist in achieving budgetary objectives in support of business objectives while maintaining an appropriate level of T&E service delivery Scale the type and level of T&E service provided to the country in anticipation of the specific needs of the country's business strategy Ensure successful implementation of T&E processes and initiatives that are in line with Group T&E Strategy locally Day-to-Day Duties & Tasks Partner with Country Manager and local functional leaders/ hiring managers in identifying and selecting current and future talent needs to achieve business objectives Collaborate with Centre of Excellence in driving and executing corporate T&E processes and programs in the country which include annual appraisal exercise, talent reviews, manpower budget etc Effectively deploy performance management processes and practices within the country to drive performance; retain top performers and high potentials Partner local leaders and coach local T&E team in establishing and maintaining a conducive work environment Partner the Country Manager and local functional leaders in identifying the country's talent priorities for the financial year in alignment with Group guidelines Ensure that local T&E processes are executed in accordance with Group T&E guidelines and approval matrixes Manage HRIS data integrity and maintain accurate employee records Process payroll in a timely, compliant and accurate manner; and where applicable, manage payroll vendors accordingly Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable statutory requirements, conducting investigations, maintaining records, and representing the organization at hearings where necessary Prepare, analyse, and submit accurate HR dashboards and ad hoc reports to our management team Provide HR support to our Joint Venture partner stakeholders according to the agreed scope of service and work with Finance to ensure the correct level of chargeable service fees (where applicable) Lead and develop the T&E team - sets objectives and provides guidance for personal development and succession Oversee and manage office administration function (as required) Requirements Minimum Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of relevant education preferably in Human Resources or related disciplines At least at least ten (10) years of relevant HR working experience with previous managerial capacity, preferably in the retail industry Strong experience and knowledge of HR practices and processes on end-to-end employee life cycle Proven knowledge and hands-on experience in local labour regulations and prevailing market HR practices. Great interpersonal and consultative skills Able to work across all levels of employees and multiple stakeholders in country and regionally. Highly hands-on, with demonstrated capability to run seamless operations in a fast-paced dynamic environment Have hands-on experience with SAP ERP, BIPO or similar software Benefits Do you have what it takes to succeed in a fast-paced and intense environment?
