Job Description

Key Roles and Responsibilities of Counter Sales Executives: Sales & Customer Engagement • Greet and assist walk-in customers courteously. • Understand customer needs and suggest suitable products or solutions. • Demonstrate product features and benefits effectively. Product Knowledge • Maintain detailed knowledge of all products, new arrivals, offers, and specifications. • Stay updated with pricing, availability, and comparative advantages over competition. Billing & Documentation • Process sales invoices and issue receipts using billing software or POS. • Handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately. • Ensure all paperwork like warranties, guarantees, and sales reports are properly filled. Inventory & Merchandising • Keep the counter/display area clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing. • Help in stock audits, tagging, and inventory management. • Report low-stock or damaged items to the inventory manager. Customer Service • Handle customer complaints and returns gracefully. • Offer after-sales service support or escalate unresolved issues. • Build long-term relationships with repeat customers (especially in B2B or luxury segments). Coordination & Teamwork • Collaborate with the store manager and fellow team members to maintain smooth operations. • Participate in training sessions, briefings, and store meetings. Reporting & Feedback • Maintain daily sales logs and share insights with management. • Provide customer feedback to improve product range or service quality.
