Counter Sales Representative or Personnel, is a customer-facing role primarily focused on assisting customers with purchases, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. They handle order placement, payment processing, and often manage inventory and displays. This role is crucial for driving sales and building customer relationships within a retail or hospitality setting. Responsibilities: Customer Interaction: Greeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing product information and solutions. Order Processing: Taking orders, processing payments (cash, card, etc.), and ensuring order accuracy. Inventory Management: Checking stock levels, restocking shelves, and organizing product displays. Customer Service: Addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing excellent customer service. Sales: Up-selling and cross-selling products, promoting promotions, and meeting sales targets.
