Roles : As a Study Abroad Counselor, you will be the guiding force for students exploring international education opportunities. Your role is to understand their aspirations, match them with the right universities, and support them through every step from application to visa. Success in this role means: Building strong, trusting relationships with students and families Helping students secure admission offers from their dream institutions Consistently staying updated with country-specific admission trends, scholarship updates, and visa policies Contributing to our overall mission of ethical, student-first guidance in global education This role is vital to the organization’s student success initiatives and directly impacts the quality of our counseling services. Key Responsibilities Understand individual student goals and create personalized university shortlists Guide students through applications, SOP/LOR preparation, and documentation Provide country-specific insights into courses, deadlines, tuition, scholarships, and visa processes Coordinate with university partners, internal teams, and external stakeholders Conduct information sessions, webinars, or career fairs as required Maintain accurate student records and ensure timely follow-ups Ensure adherence to ethical practices and maintain up-to-date knowledge of international education systems Qualifications Bachelor’s degree (required); Master’s in Education, Psychology, or related field (preferred) 1–3 years of experience in overseas education consulting, counseling, or related fields Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to empathize with student challenges Familiarity with study destinations such as the USA, UK, Canada, Australia, Europe, and Asia Proficiency in CRM tools or student management systems is a plus Ability to work in a fast-paced, student-centric environment Show more Show less
