Job Description

Title: Costing Officer Location: Hyderabad Introduction: We are seeking a detail-oriented Costing Officer with expertise in product costing, variance analysis, and SAP FICO to join our finance team. Qualifications: ICWA Qualified with 1-2 years of relevant experience in product costing and variance analysis . Proven experience working with SAP FICO for financial data tracking, cost management, and reporting. Strong proficiency in MS Excel , Key Responsibilities: Product Costing & Cost Structures: Analyze and determine the cost of products, including material, labor, overhead, and other related expenses. Variance Analysis: Conduct monthly variance analysis to compare actual costs with budgeted costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities or discrepancies. Provide explanations for variances to management. Cost Reporting & Analysis: Prepare cost reports for management, highlighting key trends and offering actionable insights. Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports for decision-making. SAP FICO Expertise: Leverage SAP FICO (Financial Accounting & Controlling) to track, analyze, and report financial data, ensuring accurate product costing and internal reporting. Cost Planning & Budgeting: Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing detailed cost analysis and ensuring that financial plans are in line with cost goals. Process Improvements: Identify inefficiencies in costing processes and recommend improvements to enhance accuracy and reduce costs. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the production, procurement, and finance teams to ensure that accurate cost data is gathered and used for effective decision-making. Cost Control & Monitoring: Monitor ongoing costs against budgets and highlight any variances to management. Suggest corrective actions for cost management.
