JOB DESCRIPTION: The incumbent is responsible for cost estimation, cost & budget monitoring, rate analysis. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibility Area Key Activities Cost Estimation Co-ordinating with cost consultants Preparing cost reports, Forecasting of costs till completion Timeliness Accuracy Cost & Budget monitoring Prepare budget for various projects and monitor those budgets to ensure no over runs Cost monitoring - budget v/s actual Comprehensiveness Timeliness Accuracy Operational Rate Analysis: Timely rate analysis of items required in the project Minimizing contingencies/ risks Coordinates with Projects team for data and timelines Prepares review reports as per defined frequency and format for the Regions Timeliness of response Timeliness of response Process 1. Process Adherence Complies with company defined guidelines and processes Adheres to project timelines % Process compliance 2. Process Improvement Identifies processes/procedures in own work area that need improvement Recommends process improvement ideas to streamline efficiency/costs/productivity Undertakes process improvement activities in own work area Initiatives taken Impact of process improvement ideas Threshold Education Qualification & Experience Applicants should be Civil Engineers with 5-6 years of experience in cost consulting in Functional/ Technical competencies Knowledge of Cost/Budget of High Rise residential/Commercial Projects Should be conversant with Taxes Knowledge of SAP, ASTA, AUTO CAD, MSP Cost Control, Value Engineering Skills Upto date knowledge of new/ advanced construction technologies & cost impact of the same.
