Description

We are seeking an experienced Cost & Planning Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and ensuring effective project planning to support successful project execution.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs.
Develop and maintain project budgets and schedules.
Analyze project costs and prepare reports for management.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure accurate planning and execution.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements.
Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
Monitor project progress and adjust cost estimates as necessary.
Assist in procurement processes and vendor negotiations.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
10-15 years of experience in cost estimation and project planning.
Proficient in cost estimation software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, AutoCAD).
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes and project management principles.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Certifications such as Certified Cost Professional (CCP) or similar are a plus.
