We are seeking a skilled Cost Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project costs, preparing budgets, and conducting financial analyses to ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cost analysis and prepare budgets for projects.
• Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to budget constraints.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather project requirements and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and present findings to management.
• Evaluate supplier quotes and negotiate contracts to achieve the best pricing.
• Assist in the development of project schedules and resource allocation.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 4-6 years of experience in cost engineering or project management.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in cost estimation software and tools, such as Primavera, MS Project, or similar.
• Solid understanding of engineering principles and project management methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
