Cost Control Specialist

Role Overview: As a Plant Cost Controller at our company, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial aspects of our plant operations. You will be responsible for collaborating with operational management in budget development, overseeing results management, assisting in forecasting, and ensuring cross-departmental collaboration. Your technical skills in industrial efficiency, management analysis, financial business modeling, and financial data mining will be key to your success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with operational management in budget development by preparing and filing budget templates, challenging data, and consolidating financial information. - Prepare provisional results, conduct result and variance analyses, support the accounting department during closing, and propose action plans for improvement. - Assist in developing forecasts, challenge forecast data for accuracy, and work effectively with other departments. - Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager and corporate team to monitor and analyze industrial equipment efficiency and KPIs, and apply strategies to improve overall plant efficiency. - Perform comprehensive financial analyses, utilize financial and accounting data for analyses by profit center, provide support in cost management, and contribute to financial modeling. - Process and interpret data to produce effective reports, and understand the impact of erroneous data on company systems and statistics. Qualification Required: - ICWA / CMA qualification - Minimum 2-5 years of experience - Good knowledge of costing, budget preparation, and process improvement - Knowledge and proficiency in SAP and Excel - Strong leadership and communication skills in English - Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and ensure adherence to deadlines,
